Is my personal information secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. Authentication is handled by Clerk, and all payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your payment card details. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

Buying

How do I order a personalized product?

Browse our product catalog, select a product you like, choose your options (such as size, color, or style), and enter your personalization details (like your name or a custom message). Add it to your cart and complete checkout securely through Stripe.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Delivery times vary by seller and product type, as each item is made to order with your personalization. Check the product listing for estimated production and shipping times, or contact the seller directly for more details.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Since products are personalized and made to order, cancellation and modification policies vary by seller. Contact the seller as soon as possible if you need to make changes. You can find seller contact information on their store page.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our payment processor, Stripe. This includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more.

What if I receive a defective or incorrect product?

Selling

How do I start selling on PutYourName?

Create an account, then navigate to your dashboard and create a new store. Add your store details, list your products with images and pricing, and connect your Stripe account to start receiving payments.

What fees does PutYourName charge?

PutYourName charges a 10% platform fee on each transaction. This fee is automatically deducted from the sale price before the payout is sent to your Stripe account. There are no monthly subscription fees or listing fees.

How do I receive payments?

Payments are processed through Stripe Connect. You will need to connect a Stripe account to your store. After each sale, your payout (minus the 10% platform fee) is sent directly to your connected Stripe account according to Stripe's standard payout schedule.

What kinds of products can I sell?

You can sell any personalized, culturally-inspired products that comply with our terms of service. This includes custom jewelry, clothing, art, home decor, accessories, and more. Products should offer some form of personalization and respect cultural traditions.

Can I sell products from multiple cultures?

Yes. When listing a product, you can tag it with one or more cultures. This helps buyers discover your products when filtering by their cultural interests.
